The BC Pro Wrestling Fund

Here for BC's wrestlers, in the moments that matter.

The BCPWF exists to develop and protect professional wrestling talent across the province — today through emergency assistance, out-of-province trainer sessions, and our own live events — and tomorrow through the programs still on our roadmap.

Our Mission

Three initiatives, one community.

Everything we do works toward a stronger, sustainable future for wrestlers and the BC wrestling community. Three initiatives are active right now — with more on the way.

Emergency Assistance Program

Modest, short-term financial help when an unexpected emergency hits — for anyone who actively contributes to BC's wrestling community, in the ring or behind the scenes.

Eligibility & how to apply

Out-of-Province Trainer Program

We bring experienced trainers in from out of province to work directly with BC's wrestlers — raising the quality of coaching and sharing skills that stay in the community.

Live Events

A live-performance program — beginning with Kits League in Vancouver — creating paid bookings and public-stage experience for wrestlers, and introducing new audiences to professional wrestling as an accessible, community-based live performance form.

On the roadmap: scholarships, health and safety initiatives, and financial education — the next programs in the Fund's plan for BC wrestling.

Why We Exist

Wrestling asks everything of its performers. Their community should give something back.

Professional wrestling is a demanding live performance practice, and the people who create it in British Columbia give their bodies, their time, and often their savings to it. Travel, training, injuries, and unpredictable income can put enormous strain on even the most dedicated performers.

The BC Pro Wrestling Fund was created to stand in that gap — with short-term emergency assistance for unexpected crises, trainer sessions that raise the standard of coaching and safety across the province, and live events that create paid work and public-stage experience while introducing new audiences to professional wrestling as an accessible, community-based live performance form — and with scholarships, health and safety initiatives, and financial education to come, so that a life in wrestling can also be a sustainable one.
